Collecting
stamps Although
the warehouse has now closed, we are going to continue collecting and selling stamps to
support our work in Latin America, Asia and Africa. If you would like to continue helping
us, here are a couple of ways in which you can get collecting:
- If you are at school, get
your class mates and friends involved. You could set up a collection box or run a
competition for the biggest collections between classes.
- Ask your local church,
community centre or doctor to collect - any one who you think might want to help.
What to do with your stamp
collection
- Its really important that
the stamp is left with the paper on the back.
- Cut round the stamp but
don't cut too close or you may damage the perforations.
- Try to leave a border of
about 6mm.
- Don't soak the stamps off
the paper.
With a second class postage
stamp, we've worked out that you can send an envelope containing 200 stamps. However, you
can send any quantity you like in a single envelope. Send your stamps to:
