About Health Unlimited

Health Unlimited works on health projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America for people who are especially poor and vulnerable.

There are many reasons why people do not have access to decent health care. Sometimes they live in very remote areas where the nearest doctor can be up to two days walk away. In some countries, indigenous peoples are treated badly by government health services because they speak a different language and have a different way of life. In other cases, civil war and conflict has shattered peoples lives.

Health Unlimited gives long-term support to such people to help them improve their own health. We help them build health clinics. We train and equip them to deal with health problems in their own communities. We help local health services to improve the care they give. And we provide health information through radio programmes.
